Efforts are made by Laraib to meet the needs of educational institutions of the area as per their requirement. The Company provided computers to three different colleges including Afzalpur Degree College for Women, Girls Degree College Mirpur and Boys Degree College Mirpur.

Renovation work was carried out in local community schools. Two Community schools were provided with new furniture for their classrooms.

Laraib awarded scholarships to deserving students of Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST) for the first time. Prizes were given to the students of local community schools for outstanding performance in annual exams. Laraib also extended sponsorship for Pakistan Renewable Energy Summit 2019 held in Islamabad.

Laraib regularly conducts different community awareness campaigns.

Traffic Safety sessions were conducted in coordination with HSE in community schools.

HSE awareness session was conducted for local industry and crush plant workers in collaboration with EPA.

Seminar on climate change and its impact on economy was conducted in Mirpur University of Science and Technology.

Awareness campaign for preventive measures during the flood situation. This campaign covered 11 downstream villages with a total population of approximately 18-20 thousand people living within the reach of spillway releases from Mangla on the banks of the Jhelum river.
