Mr. Fayyaz Ahmad Bhatti has a diverse experience of over 20 years in the power, oil, manufacturing, and business assurance & audit sectors of Pakistan and has a proven record of successfully leading the organizations in achieving their corporate objectives.

Before joining Hubco as VP Strategic & Regulatory Affairs, Mr. Bhatti served as Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary for about 10 years in Laraib Energy Limited, a subsidiary of Hubco, which is the first hydel IPP of Pakistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir and played a vital role in the successful completion & commercial operations of the Project, it’s transition from construction to operations phase and payment of consistent dividends to the shareholders since the Project achieved commercial operations.

Prior to Laraib, Mr. Bhatti also served Attock Refinery Limited, a petroleum refining company, in different executive management positions and was instrumental in preparation of financial feasibilities & approval of refinery growth projects worth PKR 22 billion.

During his professional career, Mr. Bhatti also successfully handled several merger / demerger assignments, setting-up of new corporates, and was also involved in numerous financial advisory & audit engagements both in the public & private sector organizations.

Mr. Bhatti is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accounts of Pakistan, and he had completed his four years articles with A. F. Ferguson & Co, Islamabad, a member firm of the PwC network.
